Bug Description
I was asked today whether maas-test could have caught the case where MAAS was unable to write user credentials to user slot 10 on a BMC. This was a test case from a real deployment issue at a customer site where it was determined that of... something like 12 slots for user accounts on a BMC, MAAS was trying to write it's credentials to slot 10, and was not able to (but was able to write credentials to any other slot).
So there should be tests in place to ensure maas can write user/password data to all positions in the BMC user tables.

Hum, this really looks like something that MAAS itself should check; and if the check fails, the error should be reported back to maas-test.
