Wishlist: homogenous installation place for cython api files

Bug #1019731 reported by Dieter Maurer on 2012-07-01

Bug Description

The current "lxml" git-master (upcoming lxml-2.4 release) installs some of its cython api files ("lxml.etree_api.h" and "lxml.etree.h") in the directory "lxml" while it installs the others (e.g. "etreepublic.pxd", "etree_defs.h" and "lxml-version.h") in "lxml/include".

Would it not be nicer to put them all together in "lxml/include"?

Agreed, although "would be nicer" is a nice way of putting it.

Cython currently writes these files into the source directory. I'm not sure where to change this: in lxml's setup.py or by adding an option to Cython.
