Bug Description

lubuntu-18.10-desktop-amd64.iso

I can see the screen with choices (Boot Lubuntu, Memory test, language choosing) but nether Boot Lubuntu nor Test disk for defects is not successful.

Usually my USB stick is problem free.

I recorded it on Mac with this command:
sudo dd if=lubuntu-18.10-desktop-amd64.iso of=/dev/disk2

Tried to boot on two computers.

I checked the MD5 of the iso - it is correct c53e553cfc4db0f83f2ed48a55f3f1ac

Sorry that incorrect project on Launchpad but I do not see in the dropdown correct one.

If "test disk for defects" fails, it means that your copy of the ISO onto the installation media (the USB stick) was not correct. `dd` tends to be the most reliable tool, albeit an advanced one.
