Bug Description

On some installations, when ubuntu is booted the first time we have "Superblock last mount time is in the future" which results in an fschk and a further reboot. Probably a Ubuntu bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/e2fsprogs/+bug/43239

it also seems, that every time, grub is updated, the Superblock date is confused.
(as experienced today where grub went to beta3)

working with XP changed the date to print an excel-sheet with a historic date only to avoid confusion because the work-sheet hadn't changed.

This led to a hanging splash screen and killing X left me with a shell were I could fix the problem with fschk. Nothing for a first time user!

I kept cool because linux has proofen incredible solid for the last years and once in the shell fchk showed me exactly what it didn't like.
