mousewheel doesn't work in qt5 applications

In a Qt5 application like pcmanfm-qt or about-lxqt or qterminal the mousewheel does not scroll in a lubuntu-qt-session and lxqt-desktop session or an openbox session. I am currently on a kvm virtual machine with 32 bit of utopic.

I excpecting the scroll wheel to scroll lines. Instead it doesn't scroll on qt5 applications but does on gtk+ or qt4 applications.

I should mention this only happens in kvm virtual machines not on real hardware.

Also this seems to be fixed in viivd but still displays itself in newest lxqt from ppa on utopic in kvm vms I think it might be a new version of qt in the guest that fixes it.

I have the same problem, but I'm using VMWare

Installing last QT from http://download.qt.io/official_releases/qt/5.4/5.4.0/ and overriding LD_LIBRARY_PATH makes mousewheel working again, so it's a problem on QT

Now lubuntu ships with qt 5.4 for lubuntu next In 15.04 and the scrollwheel works.
