Brightness adjustment is touchy/(auto)adjusts more than once when pressing Fn+Brightness Keys (on keyboard) ONCE

The brightness adjustment in Lubuntu Seems to be touchy. If I use the brightness switch key(s) on my keyboard, the brightness seems to change slowly and erratically. Each time the brightness goes up or down, It automatically adjusts more than once with a small delay in between. As this happens, the brightness notification shows. The bar in the notification Looks like it is filled up no matter what the brightness is, and it also seems like the bar overlaps another.

If you change the brightness to go the the opposite of what it is already slowly changing to, it will go in a loop and start to flicker the screen. To stop it from flickering is to select and focus a window or open the start menu, but if you let it go for awhile, the CPU usage will go up to 100% and your computer will act very slow.

This bug can also happen if you close the lid on your laptop or netbook, and then open it some time later.

Please note that this was found in a live session(of Lubuntu 14.04.4) on a netbook, so not sure if this happens when Lubuntu is installed.

Also about the project, I am not sure if I chose the right one.

Hmm.. Looks like this can be fixed/stopped by changing a setting in the power manager in Lubuntu 16.04.
