Bug Description

Ubuntu Sever 12.04 amd64

My LTSP server is a Active Directory member. The thin client can login using the users from the domain, but when I try login with a user from a trusted domain, LDM didn't work (see log attached).

From the log, of a thin client, you can see the user "DOMAIN\\usuario" makes the ssh connection but ltsp-locallappsd did not recognized the user.

I need two slashs to make the ssh connection, one for scape. But it appears that LDM cannot handle the slash. If I use one slash then the ssh did not recognized the user.

Problem solved.

I updated a chroot file, /opt/ltsp/amd64/usr/share/ldm/rc.d/X01-localapps , with the file in link bellow:

http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ltsp-upstream/ltsp/ltsp-trunk/view/head:/client/localapps/ldm-rc.d/X01-localapps

Then update the image "ltsp-update-image", and now I can authenticate on thin client the users from a trusted domain.

For the record I attached the file in bug track.

Thanks Alkisg!

I'm marking it as a duplicate of LP bug #357268, as that one was the reason for rewriting X01-localapps.
More explanations in comment #12 there.

If someone needs that backported in 12.04, he/she could request an SRU:
