Bug Description

Hi all.

I've got a sound crash on thin clients (2 different model, neoware and HP, working fine with LTSP10.04 ubuntu).
When i boot with my laptop as a thin client, or anoter one laptop, sound doesn't crash at all.

at first, after logging, sound looks like available, but i can't play any sound file in vlc.
i can restart pulseaudio on the client (itself via ssh on the thin client, not the server) via start_sound provided by /usr/share/ltsp/ltsp-init-common
i can at this momment play sound file & hear them, but as soon i do any volume control (vlc or system) sound crash, system volume applet goes mute & broken

i tried the revision 2483 ( -L module-suspend-on-idle ) but with no change at all for my troubles, i seekin in the internet but i dont find the same experience reported.

ubuntu LTSP 12.04 64bits
CHRoot 32bits NON PAE
desktop : Xubuntu Xfce4
pulseaudio is version 1.1

lshw LTSP12.04 server : http://pastebin.com/7cJmLtP3

Does it work if you boot the client with Xubuntu 12.04 from a *USB stick*?
If not, it's not LTSP-specific...
