Patch from revno 237 of dbadmin currently running as official Navigator
Since bringing up Navigator, we've had trouble with the database server
regularly overloading, eventually making all web servers dependent on it
unresponsive. After some investigation, I've narrowed this down to a single
query in Navigator, when the tmp_NewDeps table is filled with data from other
tables. Disabling this single query resolves the problems with the overloaded
MySQL server; it has been running now for nearly a day without trouble.
The server in this case is MySQL 5.1.52 as delivered by RHEL 6.1; the client is
running the 5.0.95 client as shipped by SUSE 11.
I've attached the current patch which resolves the problem for me. (It also
renames a temporary table; this was useful in diagnosing the source of the
problem.)
