Bug Description
Bug 830 documents a problem where manual intervention is needed after a package
is installed. The same bug also documents the LSB 3 "solution" for that, which
is the addition of /etc/profile.d. The Book, as the canonical non-normative
resource for how to build an LSB app, must describe this mechanism.
