2011-08-15 20:55:05 Severin H description hello, i'm a total newb. i just finished installing ubuntu 11.04 on the family PC, and created multiple accounts for everyone (i'm sick of my wallpaper changing to princesses every other day). i'm now trying to setup lottanzb. i installed and configured lottanzb as administrator, but i found that only one person at a time can use the application. when person-a is logged in and using lottanzb (btw - doesnt have to be downloading anything, just have it open), when person-b tries to launch it they will be asked if they want to manage another machine and then get a failed API error message. i read that this was a known issue and supposedly fixed in 0.6 (which i am running), but i may be doing something wrong because i cant seem to get past this. any help is very much appreciated. TIA hemi. A user should be able to set up LottaNZB and launch an instance of SABnzbd no matter if another user is already running LottaNZB and SABnzbd. In particular, LottaNZB should detect the case where an instance of SABnzbd is already listening on port 8080, but the current user does not have any corresponding configuration data. Choosing a different port such as 8081 should do the trick and allow for multi-user support. Ideally an user should not be aware that another user on the same machine is already running LottaNZB and SABnzbd.
