Thanks for reporting this bug. However, we won't be able to help you if you don't give us some more information.

Are downloads added correctly to the queue and LottaNZB/HellaNZB just doesn't start downloading them?
What distribution are you using? Installed using a package or from the source?

It would be quite helpful if you provided us with a copy of what's displayed in the new message log window (Help -> Show message log window). Set the level to "Debug" and post both the output of HellaNZB and LottaNZB. Thanks in advance.

It also might be a good idea to copy the message log after having added a download.

Sounds like the same problem as I am experiencing. Do you by any chance use a news server that doesn't require a user name or password? It seems that bug #205326 is back for the 0.3 release :-( Try mannually editing your ~/.lottanzb/hellanzb.conf file and changing your user name and password to:

username = None, password = None

I figure this out myself yesterday.
But that was not the real problem.
When setting up Lottanzb you have to fill in the newsserver and the gate
(standard) but lotta doesn't use/write that in the hellanzb.cfg file.
Knowing that lotta is a gui for hella, so, hella doesn't have te right
data to download.
I changed the server configurationdata in hellanzb.cfg and after that it
works like a charm :)

Wilbert: What do you mean exactly? If you use the stand-alone mode,
LottaNZB should write the correct server/port in the
~/.lottanzb/hellanzb.conf file.
