Bug Description

>>NUBuntu user<< 14 days and apologize in advance if following is not good enough explained

Current situation:
Lottanzb is greyd out and do not work no matter how many un / re-install I do

Managed to get Lottanzb to work once - That was on a fresh re-install of Ubuntu after crash of Ubuntu 14.04LTS
(curious joe had to find out what compiz could do ;)

It REALLY works when it works but it was short lived - Lottanzb kept shutting down and eventually it stopped working permanently

Now I'm experiencing "greyed out" GUI - I have done a lot of reading up

What I have tried to fix problem:
1. Uninstalling re-installing sabnzb (+) - LottaNZB
  a. Through software center
  b. Through Terminal command

2. Tried to sudo apt-get purge - remove - update - upgrade
3. Tried to reload etc. through synaptic manager
4. Tried to reset UFW
5. Tried to manually remove PPA
a: dont quit get the PPA thin yet, but I get errors that it can't fetch and updatecenter don't work (missing internet con when i install lotta PPA daily builds (or something like that)

FYI (my thoughts)
For me it seems something is cashed somewhere in the system and therefore keep referring to something that do not exist e.g. obsolete api key (sabnzb + lotta) In prior MS windows and that would have been the case there 90%

I tried to install GTKorphan and found LottaNZB listed in the obsolete package section (allthough I had remove - clean up everything prior to using GTKorphan)

I am unsure whether this information is helpful

I proably haven't seeing this is Linux, but I feel I have tried everything and why I write this post

I can't get sabnzb& lotta to work - no matter what I do ...,- the 1 time I managed to get it to work was with a fresh Ubuntu install

P.s.

I know you would like to know info about what I did when problems occured, but I did haven't done anything - After crashing ubu ntu 5 times because I'm curious Joe -I have learned to some extend what to do and not to do like using Bleachit without extensive knowledge etc.

I at the point that the only option I see it to re-install Ubuntu once more - and that can't be right - can it!?

**
Beeing a prior windows nerd I need to point out that it is really "nerdy" and should not be this hard to fix

Im saying this because UBUNTU owns MS windows bigtime and (if worked on the UX level without comprising security) could be the default operation system of the future
