Bug Description
The now 'experimental' code used to include a Search field in the upper right corner for all pages. This allowed you to quickly search for a revision, etc. AIUI, it used bzr-search to generate search indexes on disk, which could then be queried by loggerhead.
It was disabled on Launchpad, because the performance did not scale well to 100s of branches. bzr-search works, but takes a while to do its indexing, and wasn't something that we wanted to run live on Launchpad's loggerhead.
It is still nice functionality to have for small sites, and so should be turned into something that can be configured on/off.
