Bug Description
The log to file functionality does not appear to work in 0.9-0ubuntu2 (default on Ubuntu Focal). On 0.5-0ubuntu4 (tried on Ubuntu Xenial) the -l <filename> flag wrote the log to the specified file. In 0.9-0 the log always ends up written to syslog regardless of what I specify to -l.
Example:
loggedfs -l /tmp/log.txt /tmp/mydir
-> On 0.5-0 all operations on mydir are written to log.txt
-> On 0.9-0 all operations on mydir are written to syslog
Weirdly if I run loggedfs in the foreground (using -f) it seems to work as expected and the log is written to the specified file.
I've also tried installing 0.5-0 onto Ubuntu Focal and it works as expected. Either there is a bug here, or the behavior has changed and the instructions not updated.
