livewallpaper does not start on login

Bug Description

I'm using Kubuntu 18.04. I tried the autostart option in livewallpaper-config panel. I tried adding livewallpaper in autostart programs but no luck.
livewallpaper-indicator does show up in system tray on start but not the wallpaper(Im using using nexus). Live wallpaper only shows after I uncheck and check the livewallpaper option on indicator.
When I try running livewallpaper in terminal w/o root I get this error "Failed to register: Unable to acquire bus name 'net.launchpad.LiveWallpaper'", with sudo it runs perfectly.

I just tried to reproduce your problem in a fresh Kubuntu 18.04 installation in VirtualBox. LiveWallpaper starts as expected at startup.

You are unable to run livewallpaper from the terminal, because it is already running, you just can't see the window. I guess it is hidden behind some other window. Do you have any other program running which shows a desktop wallpaper? Any application showing desktop icons?

I checked, and yes livewallpaper is running on start but is not shown unless I click on show application window in system monitor. I do have conkey installed. I tried removing it but no luck. I think I'll just reinstall the system. Btw thanks for response
