Bug Description

Hi,
first of all, thank you very much for this great application! :)

Recently I switched to Kde Plasma (on top of my Ubuntu 16.04) and I'm trying to avoid liveWallpaper and liveWallpaper-indicator to be automatically launched on every new Plasma session.

Would it be possible in the future to move /etc/xdg/autostart/livewallpaper-indicator.desktop to ~/.config/autostart/livewallpaper-indicator.desktop ?
So a user can decide what application should be automatically started or not by its environment.

A good example is Variety (the wallpaper changer) that puts variety.desktop in ~/.config/autostart and recreates or updates this file each time the user wants to active/deactive Variety.

Thank you by advance,

Thierry.

Hi,

So I guess you want to add OnlyShowIn=GNOME; right ?

You can copy /etc/xdg/autostart/livewallpaper-indicator.desktop to ~/.config/autostart/livewallpaper-indicator.desktop and modify the file, it should shadow the global file for your account and you should be able to customize its behaviour.

Some apps managing the autostart desktop files (such as gnome-session-properties that seems to have disappeared) should handle this feature, so I don't think we should do so, an user able to edit the desktop file will be able to copy it, and an user using such an app doesn't need this feature.
