Bug Description

Disabling Gnome automount doesn't work on Intrepid (windows pop up on the desktop when the drive is formatted etc.), which in case messes up the entire installation process.

Workaround: Launch the Ubuntu Installer (ubiquity) in the background, as it properly disables the Gnome automount. Then run liveusb.

Run gconf-editor and go to /apps/nautilus/preferences/ and disable media_automount (and possibly also media_automount_open). That did the trick for me. Persistent home seems to be broken though (syslinux fails).

Cheers,

Charlie.
