Bug Description

From one of the other day, listen doesn't scrobble any song to last.fm. I installed listen via the repo. In terminal I can't see any "Handshake" or audioscrobbling messages.

I also tried listen 0.6.4 from source, same problem.

In the attachment I put the debug console output from listen 0.6.3 playing one track (length is 49 seconds).

I'm running Ubuntu 9.04, gstreamer version is 0.10, I have installed python 2.5 and 2.6, gtk version is 2.

I got a similar problem with Listen 0.5 and Ubuntu 9.04. It seems to scrobble only very short songs (under about 90 seconds).

Same problem here on a Debian GNU/Linux (sid/amd64).

Listen (0.6.3) doesn't scrobble any song anymore, the only useful error seems to be:

/usr/lib/listen/source/lastfm_information.py:258: GtkWarning: gtk_progress_set_percentage: assertion `percentage >= 0 && percentage <= 1.0' failed
  progress.set_fraction(frac)

I downloaded and installed Listen 0.6.2 from Launchpad, in this version scrobbling is working.

Same here.
I'm new to Listen so I can't say if something's wrong on my side but.. there's no complaining about a wrong login so I assume the error is somewhere else.

Same here. Scrobbles work with another player with same settings.

Last.fm integration is a main feature and my personal reason to use listen - i hope you can fix it so i don't have to use another player :/

i added a little more debug output and it seems the submit() loop in audioscrobber_manager.py is never even started (checked with 0.6 bzr). tried to read player/__init__.py, but having problems understanding all the "if fadeout, if __signal_emitted, if remaining" and all kinds similar sounding of events (play-end, stopped, eos) there :P
