pk_client_search_files_async() at this time. The command is processed by packagekitd without any reaction, it neither throws an error message nor it finishes the action.
This does not happen if you use pkclient, but Listaller does not have this problem on Fedora 12. |

This problem also does not appear if you use Listaller's Qt4 frontend, it only happens with the GTK+ GUI. The issue also disappears, if you execute the function directly inside a GTK+ application. (Listaller uses a library which does all the work)
If it would fail on Fedora too, I would consider this as Listaller bug, but cause it does not, PackageKit may be affected too. |
