Bug Description
When using MATE on Linux Mint 12 64-bit trying to switch to another user using Menu / Logout / Switch user doesn't do anything at all.

Unfortunately in my case Menu / Lock screen doesn't do anything either. This makes MATE unusable for me as my wife needs to be able to use the pc too.
