Bug Description

This is on Cinnamon 1.4, but I am running Ubuntu 12.04 beta 2 (fully updated) so I'm not sure where to report this bug, as Cinnamon is a linux-mint product.

The problem happens randomly, usually after booting and logging on for the first time. There is no definitive thing to do to recreate this problem for sure. It happens randomly approx. once every two days.

The images (linked and attached) explain the problem best.

- CInnamon border decoration bug in Ubuntu 12.04 makes all chrome (=decorations) black

- Selecting a different GTK+ theme instantly fixes this, and you can select the old theme again without problems.

- Sometimes the black chrome has blue or green elements.

Thanks for noticing, I've asked if anyone involved things these screenshots look similar; if so this can be marked duplicate.

bug 961591 was fixed in mutter 3.3.92, so if you are experiencing a similar issue, it is probably a different bug (unless you are running an old mutter version for some reason)

Nope, I have everything fully updated, except for Cinnamon itself. I have the latest stable instead of the latest nightly.
The updated version from April 27th caused the Cinnamon-session to no longer work.

I had to force version from Cinnamon 1.4.0-20120427044007-precise to 1.4.0-2ubuntu1~precise1 to get it to work again.

I still have this problem. I guess the problem was rolled into stable.
Can someone confirm or possibly even look into it?
