Misspelling in the installer

In the text "Hilfe finden" in the german installer of Linux Mint 12 (Gnome, 32bit) "Gemeinschaft" should be changed to "Gemeinschaften".

I add Ubuntu/ubiquity then. It was a bit elusive to track down the actual translation in launchpad.

Linux Mint's installer slideshow isn't part of the ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu source package. I expect they have their own version of it somewhere else.

So that may be the same errors but the OP didn't give a full string as example and my german is weak, oh so weak.
I couldn't find any reference either to ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu being the source.

Thanks for reporting this bug!

First of all, since there is no actual full string, link or screenshot given it is difficult to say if this even is a bug or if it is not. Without having the context from which the translation »Gemeinschaft« comes I would say it is correct in singular not in plural since »Gemeinschaft« usually is the translation of »community« which is always translated in singular.

Also this is definitly NOT an Ubuntu bug since Linux Mint uses its own slideshow and installer. You find an overview on Linux Mint translations in Launchpad here: https://translations.launchpad.net/linuxmint/isadora/+lang/de

There is also some templates for the installer slideshows on that page. There might be more translation templates somewhere on GitHub or anywhere else.

Only if this actually is the affected string. The one in your link, Hendrik, was translated by me in November 2011, two months before Linux Mint 12 Lisa was released which should therefore already contain this translation.
Correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't know how this usually is done.

I'm pretty sure it is no. 46 in "slideshow-mint-kde" (this one: https://translations.launchpad.net/linuxmint/isadora/+pots/slideshow-mint-kde/de/46/+translate). I activated now the suggested translation (used in "slideshow-mint", where it apparently was correctly translated).

Oh, I just saw that in the bug description it says it's in the Gnome version. But it "slideshow-mint" it was correct?!

Depends on the translation freeze deadline but I would say it should have been included if it was translated 2 months before the release. Since Linux Mint doesn't publish daily builds it is hard to say if it is fixed or not. On the other hand I didn't find any similar string in Mint slideshows.
