Bug Description

I installed LM12 (64bit) RC1 new with separated partitions for / (root) and /home.
Home partition was set to be encrypted (default home dir encryption).
During setup the partition was formatted like all the other ones and when adding the only user it crashed repeatedly. Tried a couple of times (at least 3 times). The partition was set to be formatted with ext4. The installer said it'll show the option to report this bug but that never happened either. After deactivating the encrypted option it worked fine.

I can confirm the same thing. After trying several times to install it with /home folder encryption, when I tried installing without encryption the install worked. It crashes right as the installer says "Creating user..."

wanted to mark this as duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/889460 but this one here is status:confirmed and the older one is status:new
but it is the same bug
