Bug Description

I made a live USB from a Linux Mint LXDE 11 .iso image using UNetbootin. Then I launched it on Asus Eee PC 701 (it does not have a CD drive). Linux Mint started successfully and worked fine without installing. (I had created a GUID partition table on the SSD for the system to be installed). The installation went fine until it reached localization settings. Then an error occurred, and the installation was stopped. What caused the error? I am going to attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman.

Hi, I found this in syslog:

Oct 16 23:07:36 mint kernel: [ 2356.930859] end_request: I/O error, dev sdc, sector 1988592
Oct 16 23:07:36 mint kernel: [ 2356.930874] Buffer I/O error on device sdc, logical block 248574

It's saying it getting an I/O error, check your USB stick for any bad clusters.
