I am able to load Linux Mint 2011 Gnome on Virtual Box, but I cannot load it as a live CD on my computer

Bug Description

It will start to load up as live cd but stop. I want to install it on my computer along side Windows, but not able because it want load up.

I think the problem could be video. I have Rage 128 Pro Ultra 4xl VR
-R-AGP video card. I have a Aoc 17 Monitor using 1024x768 resolution.
 It seems like Linux Mint can't handle a 1024x768 screen resolution.
I am sending this bug so maybe this can be improve on future
distributions of Linux Mint.

Are you still on the case?
Can you run other Linux versions on your computer, either live or installed?

Mint can handle 1024x768 screen resolution. That is a pretty standard screen.

I strongly recommend that you post your questions on the mint forum instead as it has a much bigger traffic than here:
