Bug Description
I have fresh install of Mint Debian Edition (64 bit - gnome); attempting to run "sudo apt-get install blender" results in the following error:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
blender : Depends: libavdevice52 (>= 4:0.6-1~) but it is not going to be installed or
E: Broken packages
The same happens when attempting to use synaptic package manager.
I hope you can release the missing dependencies asap.

Yes I can confirm this bug for Linux Mint Debian! latest + update pack 3 - up to date!
Blender can not be installed form Software manager, Synaptic and sudo apt-get install.
But can be installed with aptitude if you agree to downgrade and remove some packages.
sudo aptitude install blender
libavcodec -extra- 52 (< 4:0.6.2-99) which is a virtual package.
Depends: libavformat52 (< 4:0.6.2-99) but 5:0.6.3-0.0 is installed. or
libavforma t-extra- 52 (< 4:0.6.2-99) which is a virtual package.
Depends: libavutil50 (< 4:0.6.2-99) but 5:0.6.3-0.0 is installed. or
libavutil- extra-50 (< 4:0.6.2-99) which is a virtual package.
[sudo] password for user:
