Bug Description

Version of mint used : Release 11 (katya) Gnome 32-bit

To reproduce fault : Open libreoffice draw or Inkscape, select tool for selecting items (should automatically do this). When you stop moving the pointer over the drawing pad the pointer disappears. To make it reappear just move the pointer. Despite not being about to see it when the mouse button is pressed you can still select the object that the invisible pointer is hovering above.

Reproducibility : So far this has happened every time I have opened either of these programs. These are the only drawing programs that I use so I can't comment on whether this happens with any others.

Further comments : Apologies if this is the wrong place to report the bug, but this problem only seems to apply when running linux mint. I'm not a expert or even semi-expert with unix so I hope I'm not wasting your time because I'm unaware of how to fix this. Thanks for your help. Debbie

I've noticed this, too, currently running the live, Debian Edition (2012-04) with MATE.
