Bug Description

LMDE RC, Xfce version.

Thunar can see network (cifs) machines, and will display shared folders on a network machine. However, any attempt to access an individaul share by double-clicking on it results in a 'no available application' error. Attempting to select a file manager to access the share results in a further error, and network shares cannot be accessed via Thunar. This works in other distros using Xfce 4.8. This error is consistent and has been reproduced by at least one other person. See this thread in the forum: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=80249

If gigolo is installed, shares can be accessed using it. Printing to a printer shared via Samba on a network machine also works without error.

This problem persists in the latest release ( Linux Mint "Debian" - 201109 Xfce 32-bit ).

I'm having this happen in LMDE Release 1. Gigolo works, but is...well...a workaround.
I'm also using Xubuntu 11.10 on two other machines with no problems.
