Bug Description

Taskbar suddenly started minimising and not showing minimsed processes at all. MInt menu has now decided to show only log out and switch user function rather than shut down, etc. Also it reverts to favourites after being set to show all applications. MInt 11 is fast becoming a nightmare:-(

Could you detail which options are checked in the "System" tab of the preferences dialog of MintMenu and do not appear ?
By minimised process, do you mean the Window List ? If so, did you try adding it back to the panel ?
Is the "Always start with favorites pane" option unchecked in the "Options" tab of MintMenu preferences dialog ?

I have managed to fix the mint menu problem. Now it's just the panel
that's the problem. Anything minimized just disappears and I can't get
it back even though I know they're there. A video clip will still run as
I can hear the sound but There's no way I can fetch it back. I've
fiddled with the panel settings but it makes no difference. I'm just a
poor writer and not a programmer. Sigh!
