Bug Description
Edition/Version: Linux Mint 9 Fluxbox (Isadora)
There is a serious usability issue with the Fluxbox 9 Volume Control.
Whenever I move the MintMenu to the top and click the volume TRAY ICON to change the volume, the volume control MENU appears and hide its TRAY ICON (look at picture screenshot2.png). This prevents me from clicking the tray icon again to close the volume menu!
This is not a big problem, but it definitely needs to be fixed. I hope that you guys will pay attention to this and not repeat it in other future Mint editions.
Solving this problem is actually pretty easy: you can either make the popup volume menu horizontal instead of vertical or fix the menu so that it will not hide the tray icon. I think the first one (making the popup volume control horizontal) is a better solution.
By the way, I also notice that when I move the scale indicator along the volume menu, it takes several seconds for the volume to be adjusted. Sometimes the volume does not even change unless I move it to zero or 100 and then move to the value I want it to be.
And here is my tray bar with the volume tray icon before clicking the volume menu (screenshot1.png). Just compare this picture with the attachment above (screenshot2.png) and you will see the issue!
