Bug Description

I like the default boot screen of Mint 10.10 (Julia). But, something happened to the boot screen after i upgrade my VGA card driver (Nvidia 9500GT). The size of the boot text is very big, and the "Mint logo" disappeared.

The same situation continues in Mint 15.
After installing the NVidia GT240 proprietary drivers, the Mint flashing logo is no longer in the boot screen.
Instead, there is "Linux Mint 15" written across the screen with flashing dots like previous Ubuntu releases.
