I have problems with resume after suspend as well. Every 4 or 5 resumes. It does not do it every time, but when it does the system is very sluggish, and the HD is running constantly. I checked the system monitor showing all processes including root, and nothing is showing high CPU or Memory usage, so it is all in the HD. What would be a good way to isolate this?

Another thing is, my root partition is 9.6 GB, 6.0 GB is being used, could it be getting too tight to properly resume? Does suspend write any info to the root partition?

I also have no swap partition on this machine.

I am using a Lenovo A700 all in one desktop, many of the components are made from Lenovo notebook parts to keep the machine slim. I have ATI graphics. I do not need to reboot if it happens, a simple ctrl + alt + backspace logs me out, and the problem goes away.

According to the link from the original reporter, this is an issue that is affecting laptops.

One solution for solved problem but for not fix this bug ,is :
/ partition space must be 15GB and above.
swap space for me is 1.5*4GB RAM=6GB
So good.!
