Bug Description
on my Asus 1005ha. There is no battery indicator to warn users of low battery.
I still have to go to menu, settings, power management.
It would be nice if it runs automatically like it did in Mint9 xfce

The solution was to switch the default session from running xfce-session to running startxfce4, as well as replacing gnome-power-manager with xfce4-power- manager.
This will be fixed in the stable ISO.
On your system, you can simply select the "Xfce Session" the next time you're in GDM. And replace gnome-power-manager with xfce4-power- manager.
