Update manager should be in synch with Synaptics "Force version" settings

Bug Description

Choosing Force version for a package in Synaptic should result in "Ignoring updates for this package" in Mint's Update Manger.

Unfortunately I'm unable to see what the actual error or
issue is using the provided statement. Please could you
provide the following:
 * Details of the distribution you are using
   (e.g. Linux Mint 10 Main Edition 64-bit)
 * Details of the exact error (including any supporting
   evidence, i.e. logs/screenshots)
 * Version numbers of relevant software
   (e.g. apt-cache policy PACKAGENAME)
 * What you *expected* to happen
 * What *actually* happened
 * Steps to reproduce this issue/error

It's not really that big a deal actually.
Simply, if you force or lock an older version of a package in Synaptic, Synaptic no longer lists that package in its Upgradable packages.
I think that should be synchronized with Mint's Update Manager.
("Locking/holding/pinning version " in Synaptic could result in "Ignoring updates for package" in Mint's Update Manager and vice versa.)
