Bug Description

Whenever index files are downloaded or updates got applied there is a popup window while main window of mintupdate is completely greyed and unusable.
Those annoying popup completely meaningless and only harm usability.
All such events should be handled WITHIN main mintupdate window - for example in a separate are at the bottom of the screen - similar to embedded terminal in geany text editor.
Old annoying behavior could be preserved via configuration option.

Here is a patch to mintUpdate.py that copies the changelog directly to the window, if found. Also checks return value of call to aptitude for getting changelogs.

Is this still a bug in a currently supported Mint release (Maya, Nadia, Petra)? If not, this report should be marked as Invalid
