Bug Description

I am trying to install LMDE 201012 in a virtual machine created with Virtual Manager which uses a VirtIO Disk. However, the installer does not recognize the virtual disk. Gparted however has no problem recognizing it. I attach two screenshots showing both the installer and gparted.
I am using Virtual Machine Manager 0.8.5 and qemu-kvm-0.12.5-1 under Fedora 13.

LMDE's live-installer presently contains no support for such disks, but we intend to
extend the support of filesystems and devices greatly in a subsequent release.

This has been added. In the live environment, you can open a terminal and issue the following command:

sudo inxi -U

This will update the inxi script, which is used in live-installer for disk detection. Subsequent versions of LM Debian Edition will contain the updated script, but for now this should handle the issue.

Thank you for your patience.

 Hi,
I am trying LMDE 201204 and it still doesn't work. Just wondering if the fix didn't enter the release at the end. The workaround works fine, tough.
 Thank you!
