Bug Description

nVidia Legacy video card not detected on install nor by running the Jockey tool.
Mine is a gforce2 MX400 that is properly detected by Ubuntu (10.04), but not Mint 10. How do I fix this?

Thanks,
Lance

Someone at Ubuntu though it was a good idea to to compile experimental Nouveau drivers into the kernel. That was a bad idea! Here is the pain-in-the-rear fix:

Make sure you reboot between disabling Nouveau & running the installer.
