Bug Description

Version: Linux Mint 10 RC 32-bit

I'm using maximus/window-picker-applet to save some screenspace on my netbook (Samsung N150). When applications start automatically or if window pop up to enter a password, they sometimes have the wrong focus. I think the window in front should have focus, but when I close it, sometimes another application gets closed. Or a window, which should have focus, stays behind other windows.
I'm not sure how to reproduce it, but I give an example: I have thunderbird and xchat in autostart. When I log into a session, they get startet and I also have to enter a password (keyring). Often the keyring window stays behind the other windows. Once I entered the password, I have thunderbird window in front, but when I hit Alt+F4, the xchat window closes. There's something wrong with either maximus or window-picker-applet. And it happens every time I log in.

Could it be something to do with Compiz? Is it enabled/disabled?

Compiz is enabled, but the same setting works fine in LM9/Ubuntu 10.4, so I guess it's not a compiz thing, but I will investigate further.

I imported compiz settings profile from LM9. Still no change, so I'll check later if it will happen with compiz disabled.
