Bug Description

There are already some threads in the LMDE forum about this. So it appears this concerns quite a bunch of people.
The problem: When playing multimedia files on some player using pulseaudio and having flash running at the same time, only one of them gets to actually produce sound (the one that was started fist)

It seems a couple of people have been able to stop that behaviour just by installing flashplugin-nonfree-extrasound adn some just switched to OSS4. For me the first option didn't work. I haven't tried OSS4 yet (still hoping for a patch)

I'm not sure if it matters but I use an Asus Xonar D1 sound-card and have tried both the oxygen as well as the virtuoso driver.

Also in this thread ( http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=55381 ) there is a link to the debian forum claiming that the problem has something to do with mpd, but that is apparently not included in lmde anyway or at least not in my system (although i haven't changed anything - just reinstalled before posting this to be absolutely sure. The problem already exists for me in the live-cd environment as well as the fully updated current system )

could this maybe made default for everythign to use pulse?
