[mintinstall] closes after opening Software Sources

Bug Description

Opening Software Sources from within mintInstall causes mintInstall to close. It restarts when Software Sources is closed but is reset to start screen, losing any search data.

This is done on purpose. mintInstall shows everything you have in your repositories... you're launching a tool to change these repositories and you should expect the new packages to show up in mintInstall, so it needs to restart.

This behaviour seems incorrect - the application should only react if a change is made and sources refreshed. Also IMO mintinstall should not restart completely but only initiate an internal update. One can open Software Sources from the main menu rather than the application menu and this does not affect the application so the behaviour is inconsistent. Also Synaptic doesn't restart after opening Software Sources and only reloads if there has been a change.
