Bug Description

Can't burn anything w/HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH41N burner. Mint is not compatible with this burner. It came with my gateway computer. Let me know if you need any log files.

I attached a brasero log, I know the speed is high, but pretty much the same error at all speeds. All other burning programs have errors as well with this drive

Marking as upstream.

Apparently there's something wrong with the firmware for this drive. Other users reported it didn't work at all, or it was really slow.

I'll mark it as a duplicate of #501131 as well.
