Mint 8 hangs partitioner during install with ext devices

ASUS eeePC 1005HA, installing to 4GB SDC from CD burned to ISO (validation OK)

External kb, mouse, and mon plugged in. Boot starts OK. At partitioning step can't provide its input via int or ext kbd/mouse.

If system started without ext devices, everything is OK.
