Bug Description

When I open the Users and Groups tool, the only user shown is "root". My regular user is not displayed, even when the Users and Groups app is unlocked. I am able to login as my user and the username appears in the /etc/passwd file. But I am unable to see or manage the user account via the Users and Groups application.

Check the md5sum and burn slowly

I have checked the md5sum and it matches the one posted on Mint's website. The disc also passes its check.
I've done three installs so far, each with the same results. One of those installs was to a virtual machine, which used the ISO file directly, and so by-passed any errors which may have occurred while burning.

So I believe that rules out a corrupted file or disc. I may be alone with the issue, or it may be that on one else has noticed and reported this happening. It's hard to tell. If I can provide any other information, please let me know.
