description |
Scrolling using the right edge and lower edge of the trackpad makes the area of the trackpad actually usable to move the mouse very small. Add to this that when you're going to move a window as in bug #39328 if you click to low on the trackpad it makes you scroll between windows. The same problem is that if you select a window in the KDE-bar and then move your mouse up to the program but hit the touchpad too low you will scroll between windows.
Replacing the edge scrolling way of scrolling with the two finger scroll will solve both these bugs and is very commonly used with modern devices since comes very natural to a new user. This function/way of scrolling is already implemented by manually configuring Xorg and/or install a Synaptics driver but should be enabled by default. |
