Bug Description

If you open an application and make it fullscreen (such opening a you-tube video fullscreen) and then opening a menu (right-click), then just the wallpaper appears for a couple of seconds, then the fullscreen app and the menu reappear.

I have fiddled with compiz settings, if I disable compiz (by setting "desktop effects" in "appearance preferences" to none), the problem becomes a brief flicker, which I believe is the same effect (just much faster).

With any kind of graphical glitch (especially one that isn't dependent on compiz), you need to provide you graphics card details, including which driver you're using. If you have a badly-supported card (e.g. one that requires proprietary drivers), then there's nothing we can do.
