Bug Description

Os: LinuxMint Felicia RC1, based on Ubuntu Intrepid stable.
Machine: Amd Duron 1.3Gh, 768 MB RAM, Ati Radeon 9200 PRO (9250) video card with the default opensource driver.
Display: BENQ V551
Problem: Apparently, the new xorg doesn't recognize my screen resolution right, I get only a maximum of 800x600, although my monitor supports up to 1024x768, and even higher (the new Mandriva 2009 detected a resolution higher than this, don't now the dimension, that I didn't even know my monitor can support). The problem didn't appeared in Elyssa, so neither in Hardy, but appears in the new Fedora 10. I suspect that is a bug in the new xorg that causes that, but it is strange that Mandriva 2009 uses xorg 7.4 too, and works like a charm.
If there is a way to solve this quickly, please send me instructions, and I will make all that is possible to fix this in Felicia final. I want desperately to solve it till the final version arrives, in two weeks time. Thx.

you have to provide more information (e.g. output of inxi), or better yet, post in the forums as I've seen many of these solved by confirguration changes
