Bug Description

1) Linux Mint 18.3
2) When I connect my laptop to display the output on my TV via HDMI and then disconnect the HDMI cable
3) I connect an HDMI cable from my laptop to my TV. In order to get my laptop audio to pass through to the TV speakers I must open up Sound Settings and select the Output Device to HDMI. However, when I disconnect the HDMI cable there is no audio coming out of my laptop speakers any longer. In order to get the audio back, I must reconnect the HDMI cable again and switch the Output Device from HDMI to Speakers Built-in Audio.
4) I expect that when my audio output is set to HDMI and when I disconnect my HDMI cable, the Output Device should default to Speakers Built-in Audio.
5) Always
