Bug Description
Using Linux Mint 18.3 Xfce.
In 'All Settings' / 'Window Manager Tweaks' / 'Compositor'
there is an option 'Synchronize drawing to the vertical blank'
This can be checked, but always reverts to unchecked and revisiting the settings shows it unchecked.
This causes tearing while using the system, which is not pleasing at all...
