Bug Description

After replacing my hard drive (used for /home), I was enable to log in my cinnamon session. Indeed, it always resulted in the somehow famous "cinnamon just crashed you are currently running in Fallback Mode" error. Thus, I was only able to login in console mode (god, thanks ctrl+alt+F4 !).

At first, I have investigated the followings:
 - nvidia driver
 - cinnamon settings
 - cinnamon desklets
 - R/W error on the new drive
Even a fresh install didn't fix this error.

Finally, I have found out that this error was due to a corrupted dconf database file (binary 'user' file). Removing it (or renaming) fixed the problem.

Linux Mint 18.2 'Sonya'
Cinnamon 64-bit
